Concession, Scoreboard and Gate Shift Sign Up
JAYBAL has the exclusive right to operate the concession stands at both Jack Brown Stadium and McElroy baseball diamonds for all JAYBAL, Blue Jay and University of Jamestown Jimmies home baseball games.
Proceeds from the sale of items at the concession stand is used to offset the costs incurred to players for the JAYBAL regular season.
As agreed to during registration, parents are required to complete at least three (3) concession stand shifts per player, per season.
In addition to concession shifts, there are also shifts available for running the scoreboard during youth and Legion JAYBAL games. There are also shifts for Legion Eagles games for taking gate fees and announcing/playing music.
The information below is provided as a guide to view and claim any available concession stand shifts in order to fulfill your family requirement.
HOW TO CLAIM A CONCESSION, SCOREBOARD, GATE SHIFT
In order to claim a concession or any other volunteer shift, e.g. Scoreboard, Gate or Announcing, you must log in to Crossbar via a web browser. It is not possible to claim volunteer shifts through the Crossbar app at this time.
LOG IN TO THE JAYBAL WEBSITE
From the upper left hand corner of the JAYBAL homepage, select "Log In"
ENTER LOGIN INFORMATION
Enter the email address and password used to sign in to the Crossbar app on your mobile device and select "Login"
SELECT "ACCOUNT"
Click on Account in the upper left hand corner.
SELECT THE VOLUNTEER MENU
Once logged in, select the "Volunteer" menu option from the list
SELECT THE APPROPRIATE VOLUNTEER CATEGORY
Scroll through the list of available volunteer categories and choose the appropriate category by selecting the "More Information" button under the description
FIND YOUR DESIRED TIME SLOT
Scroll through the available concession shifts until you find a desired time slot. Please note the location of the concession shift "Jack Brown Stadium" or "McElroy". Select the shift you would like to volunteer for by selecting the "+" icon next to your desired shift
A popup will appear giving you the option to assign any adult associated with your account to the shift. Select the name of the person that will be responsible for fulfilling the shift.
You are now registered for your volunteer shift!
