All 9 and 10-year-old players will be required to register and participate in JAYBAL’s 9–10-Year-Old Minor League which will consist of one practice and one in town game day per week. Tryouts for the 10U travel team will be in March. Players who make the team will sign up and pay the travel ball registration at that time. The 10U travel team will start practice in late April and their first games will be in May.
The 10U Cal Ripken travel team will have additional practices and play a game schedule with a few possible weeknight doubleheaders, and two weekend tournaments per month during May, June and July. The season will conclude with the state tournament scheduled for the weekend of Aug 2nd-5th in Fargo.
All Cal Ripken Travel Ball players will receive two uniform tops and a hat. Please see the equipment page on the JAYBAL website for required equipment.
The 11-year-old Eagles will start practice in April and games in May. Parents should expect 2 practices weekly until school wraps up. Once summer hits expect 4-5 days of baseball per week including weeknight double headers and two weekend tournaments a month in May, June, and July. The season will conclude with the state tournament in Devils Lake from July 25th- 28th.
